WWDC 2005 Weblogger Dinner: Wrap Up

http://weblog.scifihifi.com [Sci-Fi Hi-Fi] Even though the weblogger dinner seemed to be attracting a lot of RSVPs, I don’t think I ever believed that 80 people were really going to show up until the last minute. I’m not sure exactly how many ended up attending, but as you can see from James Duncan Davidson’s great photos (thanks a million Duncan!)

Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.

Guardian.co.ukhttp://www.guardian.co.uk [Guardian.co.uk] Guardian Unlimited | Special reports | Weblog heaven: Stuart's life - and consequently his blog - changed forever when he had his right foot and part of his leg amputated after stepping on a landmine. Along with American multimedia journalist Kevin Sites, Stuart has set the standard for journalists blogging from the field, as well as earning respect from the weblog community for his dignified account of coming to terms with being an amputee and his determination to get back to work.

Backupbrain.comhttp://www.backupbrain.com [Backupbrain.com] Backup Brain: Erin Clerico (the guy who runs Weblogger.com) has made it clear (here and here) that it's a business requirement that all sites hosted by Weblogger.com must be squeaky-clean enough that they will not get the site blacklisted by any Net Nanny-type software. If you say "Fuck" on your site, it could hurt his business.
