Tiger Tips: Kid Safe Account
[The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)] With the new Parental Controls—which you can find by launching System Preferences, choosing the Accounts control panel, and then clicking on the Parental Controls tab—you can set up an account with no password, so that your kid(s) can simply click on a picture to log in, and then enable Simple Finder and set specifically the different programs your child can access.

[All Forces] Kids Computer Part 1: The Hardware: They chuck a bit during some new games like The Incredibles, but for the most part, kids games like Dora the Explorer are a lot less demanding than grown up games. For a couple of hundred dollars the iMac could be upgraded with more RAM and bigger Hard Drive, but I personally wouldn’t spend any more money on them and rather use that money towards a replacement in the next year or so.
[We Want News] Child 3 From We Want News: A child (plural: children) is a young human. Depending on context it may mean someone who is not yet an adult, or someone who has not yet reached puberty (someone who is prepubescent).

[Bloggingbaby.com] Child mauled by tiger, lion in Minneapolis - Blogging Baby - www ...: There has been a lot of talk lately on Blogging Baby about parental responsibility: I don’t really think there is anywhere else but squarely on the father’s shoulders for the blame for this one. However, there was no mention in the article about whether or not the clueless daddy was indeed in jail.
[Netfamilynews.blogspot.com] NetFamilyNews: Parental controls on Apple's 'Tiger': Privacy is upgraded too: Under "Surf Securely" on this page, Apple says that by "using Safari's new Private Browsing feature, no information about where you visit on the Web, personal information you enter, or pages you visit are saved or cached." Here's early coverage from MacWorld and Techworld UK, but they don't say much about parental controls beyond Safari's child-bookmarks feature, which is really more for little kids because it'd be absurd to try bookmarking all the sites a teenager would need to visit even for a single school project or product research session.
