Love the Mac > Set Command-F to search by 'Name Contains'
[Breaking Windows 2.0 - Rants & Raves by Ken Edwards & Matt Paprocki] Whenever I try to find a file in Tiger, as I could with Panther's Command-F, I get too many results -- Spotlight shows me too many things I don't need. So every time I hit Command-F, I need to reconfigure the search options to find Name Contains.

[Macworld.com] Editors' Notes Weblog: Tiger evaluated: Spotlight - Macworld Forums: I think that the UI of Spotlight needs some work but it is a very credible start. It isn't nearly as bad as you think (though you might want to wait for 10.5 where I'm sure it will be much improved.) Your comments remind me very much of the complaints about OS X when it first came out.
