That reminds me of an article in the Weekly Standard from a few years ago about President Bush's choice for some honorary physical fitness adviser position, or his personal trainer or something - it said that this guy was fanatical about exercise almost in a theological way. Our president is pretty interesting theologically - comfortable talking about his faith, emphasizing personal renewal through faith- and community-based programs, and speaking in a sort of 18th-century poetry about the heavens in his speeches, but not that interested in making his faith into his administration policy.
