[Lightroom Forums] I am looking to add a simple, quick small foot print image editor to my iMac. What I would like to duplicate is the functionality that I am used to in the Windows only FastStone Image Viewer.

Change the Mission Control and Dashboard Background in Mac OS ...

[Lifehacker] Just rename that file to defaultdesktop-old.png and save another 256x256 patterned image called defaultdesktop.png in its place. If you'd prefer, however, to use a non-repeating image and, instead, a proper desktop wallpaper, you can do that as well.

Windows 8 vs Mac OS X & iOS – Visions of User Interfaces Collide

[OS X Daily] One reason why Apple does not use focus groups (and which Microsoft, as I understand, does) is because focus groups would probably like the clutter and impression of sophistication. Users are not always smart in knowing what is best for them, especially when they are not trained in good design where form, function and aesthetics are put hand-in-hand.

Apple releases OS X 10.7.1 update in Mac App Store too - TNW Apple

Could Apple be merging iOS and OS X in 2012? - Neowin.net

[Neowin.net] Similar to what Microsoft is planning with Winodws 8. ARM based tablets that have a lot of the Windows experience (but lacking full ecosystem app compatibility) while allowing the X86 world to still exist and flourish.I agree, though they could do something like rosetta, or do a hardware solution which would allows both x86 and ARM code to seamlessly run on both machines and run it natively.
