Love the Mac > getting a mac

Macintosh HotSync[Macintosh HotSync] I have a zire 31.  Currently we have a windows computer, but we are planning on getting a mac.  Do I have to do anything special to change over to a new mac with regard to my palm.  I really do not want to lose any information or make the transition to the mac difficult.
