Project PowerMac: USB 2.0 PCI card installed on Yikes! G4
[Newton Poetry] Since there are two hard drives on the PowerMac (one the stock 10 GB, and the other an 80 GB add-on), I want to try installing Tiger on the 80 GB drive - perhaps even mirroring my iBook G4 somehow. Playing around with Panther has been fun, and I would hate to lose it completely, so it can remain on the smaller drive.

Installing Leopard on Powermac G4 using supported intel Mac Mini
[Mac Forums - Mac OS X] I have a Powermac G4 (AGP graphics, 1gb ram, 450 mhz prosesor 120GB hard drive space 40gb and a 80gb) as well as a Mac mini (intel) running leopard. I have the disks for the mac mini, and a fire wire cable and was wondering how do I install leopard on the un-supported G4 with some assistance of the mini.

If You Love Drifting Or Formula D Racing The G4 Channel Is A Must
[D1 Drifting] As you may know you can get G4 through basically any cable all you need to do is call your provider and have them add that channel to your subscription. Even if you do in fact have cable through one of these companies you may not have the channel with your package so you may have to get it by calling the provider.

Project: upgrade a ”˜Yikes!’ PowerMac G4
[Newton Poetry] Opening the G4 up, I found four RAM slots, four PCI slots, two hard drives (one the original 10 GB, the other a 80 GB drive), and a simple CD-ROM drive. I’ve always admired the flip-down, open design of the post-G3 PowerMacs, and this was my first chance to really play around.

Mac Pro - Power Mac G3, G4 & G5 Models :: RE: Upgrading HD in G4
[Mac Owners Support Group] Only issue I ran into was that the plugs from the power supply unit seem to be miss numbered and I had to leave one of my optical drives unplugged as it could not reach. If i change the plugs around, am I at risk of any power issue (like frying any components) or are all of the plugs coming from the psu the same power levels and therefore interchangeable?
