 [Toomuchsexy.org] TooMuchSexy.blog - New must-have OS X applications: Kung-Log lets you post to any Movable Type weblog from within a nice, spellchecking, beautiful GUI. It still has some tiny kinks to knock out (I can’t view recent posts, for example — however this may be a server side error) but it is otherwise great. It was made with Applescript Studio, nonetheless, and it is open source .

One comes from Stephen Donner's blog and originates from a person, which wants to remain anonymous. It centers on Mozilla's dependency on Netscape, which many thought was too great:

 [Codepoetry.net] codepoetry - I Hate Mac OS X's Text Selection Method: Hmmm, I just tried that in a bunch of texty apps and I'd reached Mars Edit before I saw that behaviour. I did find that holding down the Option key allowed me to deselect items, though the behaviour was a little erratic and would sometimes deselect some items and then suddenly start adding to the selection in the way your post described.

I’d love it if someone came up with the same idea but built it on top of the existing iCal, addressbook and other tools existing in OSX. I want a view/shell, not a complete replacement.
