 [Ibloggedthis.com] iBloggedThis » Apple MacBook discoloration issues: I and a friend have the same thing with our ibooks that were bought last fall…but here’s the thing, I think it has to be in large part due to the choice of plastic. My previous laptop was a FIRST generation white ibook 500Mhz, and it lasted for a couple years and never had the hand-specific discoloration…I think this is because computer testing is done by robotic automation, and therefore they don’t have real people’s hands rubbing on the plastic all day :(
