BibDesk goes 1.0
[Over at Teekays] The open-source OS X BibTeX editor BibDesk has reached version 1.0, after numerous 0. releases since February 2002. BibDesk makes bibliography management on the Mac a breeze and ties in with all LaTeX front ends. It’s a great piece of software.
Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.
[Tomkeays.com] Tom Keays :: Blogmarks :: bibliography: ... "BibTeX" (February 10, 2005); Applescripts for BibDesk ... 2005); BibTeX as XML markup (February 10, 2005) ...
[Michael-mccracken.net] michael-mccracken.net: Finally, I was reminded of the class cluster concept by Adam Maxwell on the bibdesk-develop list, and upon looking into it, I realized I could do this as a subclass of NSString. It's almost the exact same code, except that it inherits from NSString, and doesn't forward messages anymore. It still has extra instance variables to keep track of the components of the string, and a string variable to keep track of the expanded value for display.
[Apple.sysbio.info] Mengjuei - Blog :: EndNote to BibTeX: I have downloaded the style from the endnote webpage, but to me it looks that I have to generate first a dummy rtf file conatining all the refernces (like {#1},{#2} .so endnote can generate a biblography in the bibtex format.
[I-cherubini.it] Mauro Cherubinis weblog: Found two nice links on connecting skype to an existing cordless phone. One is an hack which requires some soldering (via) and the other is commercial. Nice to see that a big company like Siemens is making a step towards VoIP. A cool plus is that they opened the SDK of their USB adapter to developers that want to implement new features on the existing platform.
