http://www.bestweekever.tv [Bestweekever.tv] Best Week Ever » Blog Archive » BWE: The Lost Mac Ads: I for one, having owned, in the last 2 years, A 2004 desktop-replacement Sony VAIO laptop, and the cheapest iBook available, can very definitively state that in pretty much every way but screen size, the iBook has outclassed the VAIO in speed (I’m talking real use speed, not useless CPU classifiers), portability (half the weight), connectivity (built in wireless, ethernet, modem, and just generally better at getting online wherever, automatically), included software (c’mon folks - this is one area where I will say that Apple is doing it better - every one of the bundled apps is superior to it’s microsoft counterpart, if there even is one), and last but not least, price - the iBook’s cheaper by half. I’m agnostic to PC or Mac - I use both.
