Love the Mac > 2GB & 4GB iPod shuffle Coming
[CeprixConception] You will probably get a 2GB iPod shuffle for $99 and a 4GB iPod shuffle for $149. If Apple decides to include a display (possibly, OLED) on the new models, however, the prices can get a bit higher. That would be a cool addition I’d like to see.

[Ogrady.blogspot.com] JDOG's Weblog: iPod Shuffle Rivals: I own an ipod photo and a $99 insurance policy (shuffle) made alot of sense when I didn't need long battery life or as much music on hand. The standard ipod photo is good for trips, the car, move files back and fourth to work and presintaions (convert them to jpegs). The shuffle is great for listing to music short term - shopping, working out, even a quick trip in the car when you don't want to deal with a large ipod. I have found that if your machine goes to sleep at night while you charge your shuffle when you go to workout in the morning it won't be charged.
[Techdigest.tv] Tech Digest: PodGear's Shuffle Station was probably the first of its kind designed for Apple's smallest player, which had previously been overlooked in comparison to the huge variety of speaker sets available for its larger counterparts. The Shuffle Station closely mimics the distinctive iPod design and can be powered either from the wall or by using 4 x AAA batteries. Like most of its rivals it even folds up for greater portability. When plugged into the mains it also recharges the iPod Shuffle, so the price tag seems quite reasonable when you consider it only costs £15 more than an Apple mains charger.
[Engadget.com] Turn your iPod into an iPod shuffle”¦ - Engadget - www.engadget.com.: Yah, congrats to Apple for comming up with a product that slid its way into a trend (although I'm sick of hearing about iPods and their proprietary 'features' and wish a player that supports OGG Vorbis would be all the rage)... but really, sticking feathers up your butt does not make you a chicken. Just because you attach your trendy label to something, that doesnt make it instant gold....
[Engadget.com] First case for the iPod shuffle - Engadget - www.engadget.com: Hell, if you were holding it in your hand and dropped it the shuffle should be light enough to hang off the headphone cable without pulling off and hitting the ground and otherwise it'll probably be in a pocket. I think this is just a case of companies riding the wave of iPod accessories past their limits banking on suckers the same way Apple rode the success of the iPod to the shuffle but I won't even get into why I think the shuffle is a stupid idea in the first place, but I will say that I'd rather have an MPIO FL300 which is both tiny and has an OLED screen. I also gotta go with Joel from gizmodo (*gasp*) on this one, the shuffle looks like a pregnancy test. And don't jump on my ass just yet apple fanboys, I have an iPod myself and love the thing, it's just the shuffle that I can't get down with.
[Gizmodo.net] Gizmodo: We here at Gizmodo believe that the children are the future and that we should teach them well and let them lead the way. Therefore, we’ve deigned to review the Franklin Princeton Review Pocket Prep for the New SAT-2400 handheld, a small device that offers tips, practice tests, and “educational games” for the post-pubescent scholar.
