OSX cpu techniques - Overclock.net - Overclocking.net

[Overclock.net - Overclocking.net] Can anyone add to the technique used by the Mac OS in regards to managing the cpu's? (as you can tell all I do with mac's is use them in class), they are dual 2.8 Xeon 4gb DDR2 800mhz machines).

[kontrollsoft] The solution at this time is to not use OSX as the main Kontrollbase server. Maybe some OSX diehards can check out the perl code and correct it for this OS but in the mean time I’ll continue to focus on the improvements for Linux.

[Applebloc] All you need is a Firewire cable that you can connect to each Mac. Just run Migration Assistant and any files and applications and settings you wish to have transferred will be transferred to your new Mac.

Power Mac G4 Upgrades - ehMac.ca

[ehMac.ca - 5,6] Instead of investing more money in my G4 Sawtooth where I maxed out the RAM ages ago and added external drives and DVD burners, I bought an Apple refurbished 15-inch MacBook Pro which I will use as a "desktop" - ie with external 24-inch display and external keyboard and mouse.

Second build of Mac OS X 10.6.2 seeded to Apple developers
