MP TV-service stops working - MediaPortal Forum

[MediaPortal Forum] The problem is, and I´m not the only one according to some threads here, that TV-service stops working after a couple of days from clean install of Vista/MP. I´ve read the threads about Windows defender and localhostfile-issue, but that is not my problem.

Apple Loses Patent Lawsuit from Opti Inc. on "Predictive Snooping ...

[MacRumors : Mac News and Rumors] The patent -- its full name is "Predictive snooping of cache memory for master-initiated accesses" -- describes a method to more efficiently transfer data among the CPU, memory, and "other devices." The patent was issued to Opti in June of 2002, and the company filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Apple in January of 2007.

How to add more hard drives to PowerMac G5 - ehMac.ca

[ehMac.ca] I have to caution readers of this thread that our shop used to make a LOT of money repairing overheated G5s that opted to use solutions like the G5Jam. Apple did NOT account for this concept in designing the cooling system, and under continuous heavy load you are, IMO, shortening the life of your computer and putting your data at risk.

New Apple Store at North and Clybourne in Chicago

[The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)] But perhaps I'm getting too personal -- just color me excited to have a new Apple Store even closer to where I live now (near Clark and Diversey). The new store is set to open on the empty lot that used to be taken up by a gas station between North and Clybourn (right across from the Red Line stop) and would have about 15,000 square feet in the "long-term location." No word from Crain's yet, though, over when the store would open or even when ground might be broken.

[24/7 Wall Street] It would probably be hard for Apple’s products to sell well in a really harsh economy even on the strength of a powerful brand, especially if there is evidence that all the company’s competitors are being pounded. A brand may be worth a lot, but when almost everyone has less money than they did a year ago, potential owners become aspirants. Apple products have the potential disadvantage that they are comparatively expensive.
