iPod Nano (4th generation) - Review

[MyMac.com: Macintosh reviews and editorials] Not counting the iPod Touch (since that’s more of a crippled iPhone than an iPod), the 3rd Gen. Nano was the first other than the classic iPod line to be able to play video derived from your own digital video collection (using HandBreak or similar software to rip DVDs or acquired from iTunes…LEGALLY) and at the time I just couldn’t see myself viewing video on such a small screen (measured 2-inches diagonally).

How quiet is G5 Powermac compare to iMac?

[MacTalk Forums] At idle the G5 PowerMac is very quiet, however the multiple fans do get noiser the more work you throw at it. The iMacs (current model do you mean?) have fewer fans and for typical use will be quieter than Apple's old pro machines.

On the other hand, if they were not so much general address book and calendar apps, but were instead something like specialized building contractor scheduling and contact organization apps, with unique functionality that only pertains to building contractors, I could see them being approved.

[Blog Shop Review] I am a professional Apple repair technician, and up until this point I had been using a 1.8GHz Power Mac G5 (single CPU) with no complaints. I hadn’t been doing a lot of heavy graphics or editing work, so there really wasn’t a need for me to get a dual processor G5 when I mostly did email, internet surfing, and word processing.

Powermac G4, rolling through leopard.

[ehmac.ca - 5,6] Instead of going through the gruelling process of stripping down a leopard image I created to get it in a Single layer dvd (which would have needed me to install Tiger to do, Panther couldn't do it), I snapped up a dual layer burner for $25 bones, popped it in (without taking any account of what is mac compatible). DVD worked great, read leopard no problem, got it installed with leopardassist.
