Apple iPhone SDK Beta 4

[The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)] The solution was to remove the old iphone instance from the Organizer (via right click), and then attempt to restore the instance with the n/a info instead. Of course you have to try to install the os unsuccessfully once before the n/a version shows up.

Major upgrade for my PowerMac. Worth it?

Repair Power Macintosh or to Emulate?

[mactalk Forums] The computer would be used for the purpose of playing old 68k games from the old Macintosh Color Classic, Performa 5260CD /6200 series era - if an iMac could pull that off well I'd think that might be the way to go! (or even an old Performa on eBay - unlikely though...) I could then give the 7200 off to someone interested in pulling it apart for scraps...

Myst 10th Anniversary DVD Edition & Mac OSx 10.5

[Recent Topics] I guess Myst and Riven don't work in 10.5 since there is no support in 10.5 for the older OS like 10.4 did. However this 10th anniversary edition does mention that Myst III: Exile OS X native.

Powermac Making Weird Noises

[MacTalk Forums] The best I can describe it is a loud tick-tock noise with a vibrating metal noise over the top. It lasted several minutes then suddenly stopped then about 30 minutes later it suddenly started making the same noises again for a minute or so.
